A full course treatment for IPL is 12 weeks. When using a My Smooth Skin IPL device, it is recommended to have 3 treatments per week for the first 4 weeks. Week 5 - 8 do 2 treatments per week, then Week 9 - 12 do 1 treatment per week. Remember to remove any hair on the surface of your skin before treatment. Do not wax, as your follicles have to be intact. You may use our Lady Shaver, or shave with razors.
IPL is not suitable for very light hair colours that lack sufficient pigment (melanin).
